Oils on MDF board

When I walk through Linköping (the town I live in in Sweden) I always take pictures of places, scenes, light situations which catch my eye. From this view at St. Korsgatan (holy cross street) I have taken several.

I love the different forms of buildings and how they add to each other's charm, as well as the walk-through in the building in the center of the painting. I used black gesso as a primer, which influenced my choice of color. I like the idea of abstracting a city view and still making it recognizable.
